Greetings! I am a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) board-certified to assess, diagnose, and manage the mental health needs of clients across the lifespan (people of any age). I am certified to prescribe psychiatric medications and provide psychotherapy.

I am honored to come alongside people with the goal of easing suffering and promoting mental/physical/spiritual wellbeing. I have a passion for approaching mental health care holistically. When assessing the needs of my clients I give consideration to the many factors that can influence one’s mental health: brain chemistry, sleep quality, nutritional status, physical/emotional/spiritual health, stress, coping strategies, trauma history, home life, etc. I am especially interested in working with history of trauma and substance use.

I graduated with an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in aquatic biology with an emphasis in fisheries from Bemidji State University in 2006. I received a Master of Nursing in 2009 from the University of Minnesota and was licensed as a Registered Nurse in 2010. I spent 6 years working as a pediatric oncology nurse at City of Hope before pursuing advanced education in psychiatric mental health. In 2017 I earned my Post-Master’s Certificate in psychiatric mental health from Azusa Pacific University and am now licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). I am currently pursuing a certification in biblical counseling through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF).
